- Settings → iCloud Sync. The subtitle shows status; tap Sync Now to force one.

Export everything to a .zip, and import it back any time.
- Settings → Backup → Export Backup to save a .zip.
- Import Backup to merge a .zip back in.
Recently deleted

Deleted items are kept for 30 days so you can recover them.
- Settings → Recently Deleted.
- Restore an item or delete it for good; items auto-purge after 30 days.
Common questions
Is my data private?
Yes. Sync runs through your own iCloud, AI runs through Apple Intelligence, and you can lock spaces behind Face ID or keep them entirely local.
Can I recover something I deleted?
Deleted items go to Recently Deleted and are recoverable for 30 days before they're permanently removed.
