Capture

Save from any app

Capture is the whole point. ToMe lives in the share sheet of every app, so anything you find goes in fast — and there are five more ways to add things when sharing isn't handy.

Share extension

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Save from any app with a Share button — Safari, Photos, Maps, Notes, your podcast app, anything.

  1. In any app, tap the Share button.
  2. Choose ToMe (tap More the first time to enable it).
  3. Tap a space to save instantly — or tap More Options to edit the title, pick a section, or set a reminder first.

Quick add (floating button)

iPhone · iPad

A draggable + button on the home screen for adding something by hand.

  1. Tap the + button to open the composer.
  2. Drag the button to snap it to a different corner.
  3. On Mac, use the + in the window toolbar instead.

Manual add

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Create any kind of item from scratch with notes, tags, sections and reminders.

  1. Tap +, then pick a type: Text, Link, Photo, File, Map or Voice.
  2. Fill in the content and add optional tags, a section, or a reminder.
  3. Tap Save — or Save & Add Another to keep going.

Clipboard detection

iPhone · iPad

Copy something elsewhere and ToMe offers to save it the moment you switch back.

  1. Copy a link, text or image in another app.
  2. Open ToMe — a banner slides in. Tap it to preview.
  3. Pick a space and Save. It only reads the clipboard when you act on the banner.

Drag & drop

iPad · Mac

Drag files, images, URLs or text straight into the app.

  1. Drag an item from Finder or another app.
  2. Drop it onto a space — it's saved as the right type automatically.

Siri Shortcuts & automations

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Add notes, links, images, files, voice memos or locations without opening the app.

  1. In the Shortcuts app, add a ToMe action.
  2. Set the content and (optionally) the destination space and section.
  3. Set a default space under Settings → Shortcuts.

Everything you can save

Links

iPhone · iPad · Mac

URLs with title, preview image and offline article text fetched automatically. Duplicate links are flagged.

  1. Pick Link and paste a URL — https:// is added for you.
  2. ToMe fetches the preview; special handling for YouTube and X.

Photos & images

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Capture with the camera or pick several from your library at once.

  1. Pick Photo, then tap the camera or photo-library icon.
  2. Reorder by dragging; remove with the ✕.

Notes & checklists

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Free-form notes with an optional checklist mode that ticks off as Markdown.

  1. Pick Text and type.
  2. Toggle the note/checklist switch; press Return to add rows.

Voice memos

ProiPhone · iPad

  2. Pause, stop or cancel as needed; transcribe later (Pro).

Locations

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Drop a pin by searching a place or using your current location.

  1. Pick Map, search a place or use current location.
  2. Tap a result to preview the map and save.

Files & PDFs

iPhone · iPad · Mac

Documents of any kind, with thumbnails for PDFs. Up to 50 MB.

  1. Pick File and choose from the system picker.

Common questions

Can I save from any app?

If an app has a Share button, ToMe is in the share sheet — Safari, Photos, Maps, Notes, podcast apps and more. Links, images, photos, notes, voice memos, locations and files all come straight in.

What happens if I save the same link twice?

ToMe detects duplicate links and offers to open the one you already saved, or save it again anyway.
